Joe's presentation enable you to:
- Understand the basic model behind all metadata so that they can more easily work with any specific standard
- Grasp the fundamental principles of Linked Data — the most common framework for modern metadata work
- Learn practical best practices for working with external metadata in DITA
- See clearly what unspecialized DITA can currently do and what still needs to be customized. This will help with near-term implementations but will also encourage feedback and contributions to the future of metadata support in DITA 2.0.
