We look forward to seeing you at this year’s Convex conference. Drop by our stand and say hello!
11:15 – 12:00 (EDT) on Monday 17th, Maura Moran, Contiem, will be presenting “How to Succeed with Digital Transformation.” Learn how to supercharge your digital transformation by adopting a structured content approach.” We’ll explore how organizations use DITA as a key enabler of their transformations — breaking down silos, delivering new products and realizing efficiencies.
13:30 – 14:15 (EDT) on Monday 17th, Mary McRae, Contiem, will be presenting “Right Sizing your Content: The Goldilocks principle.” We’ve all heard the benefits that can be realized by modularizing, decomposing, and otherwise breaking our “documents” into smaller bits so it can be repurposed, reused, recombined, recycled, and delivered in a myriad of forms.
14:30 – 15:15 (EDT) on Monday 17th, Rob Vaglia, Contiem, will be presenting “Web-based XML/DITA Publishing and Stylesheet Toolkit.” ver wish you could just tweak that PDF stylesheet in your CCMS without having to know XSLT and XSL-FO? Or maybe you need a new page design quickly, but you don’t have the right tools installed. RSuite®2 Publish/TopLeaf Web Service lets you launch a complete stylesheet IDE in your browser and publish the document you want, how you want it.
10:45 – 11:30 (EDT) on Wednesday 19th, Rob Vaglia, Contiem, will be presenting “Topic Templates Instead of Specialization.” Consistent content structure is a hallmark of a DITA implementation, but you may need a special structure for certain types of content. Specializations of the DITA DTD are often the solution, but do you want to deal with the overhead of maintaining and upgrading a specialization? Instead, you can create topic templates to drive structure and presentation.
